Everyone welcome. Check out Alzheimer Society programs such as Finding Your Way and Project Lifesaver, and learn from Bancroft OPP and Impact Team

The Alzheimer Society is looking forward to hosting a “Finding Your Way Information & ID Kit Day” at their Bancroft office on November 2nd, 2023. This special drop-in event will feature information on the Alzheimer Society’s Finding Your Way program as well as general information about dementia and community safety. Finding Your Way is an Alzheimer Society program that helps people living with dementia, their families, care partners, and communities recognize the risks of going missing, be prepared for incidents of going missing, and ensure that people with dementia can live safely in the community.

This event will also be attended by special guests from the Bancroft OPP detachment, as well as local IMPACT team. There will also be information about the local Project Lifesaver locating device program, as well as other locating devices and safety programs. The event will be hosted at the Alzheimer Society office in Bancroft (24 Flint Ave), from 10 am – 12 pm. No registration is required, but if you are able to give the team a call to help them anticipate numbers it would be much appreciated.
