McDonald's Coffee Day for Alzheimer's
Join us in 2025 on Thursday, September 18th to make your coffee count!

On Thursday, September 18, 2025 – make your coffee count! September is World Alzheimer Month. Local McDonald’s in Belleville, Quinte West, Picton and Madoc will be donating 50 cents from all medium, large, and extra-large coffees sold on Thursday, September 18th to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward (ASHPE). In addition, staff, volunteers, and community supporters will once again be in the drive-thru collecting cash and tap donations. As always, all funds raised will stay LOCAL and help us support the estimated 5000+ people living with dementia in our region.
“We are so grateful to have the continued support of our local McDonald’s locations once again this year”, said ASHPE Executive Director Angela Meraw.
Less than 50% of ASHPE’s budget is provided by the Ministry of Health, meaning the Society relies on the support of donors and fundraising to continue providing free programs and services in our community. The Society hopes to raise over $10,000 this year, all of which will stay in our community.
Community volunteers and partner agencies are required to help make this day a success. Contact ASHPE today to volunteer for a shift between 7 am and 1 pm for you or your team. You can e-mail trisha.clancy@alzheimerhpe.ca for more information.
On the big day, be sure to take a selfie with your McCafe coffee and tag ASHPE on social media to show your support: www.facebook.com/AlzheimerHPE
