Care Partner Education Event Returns

THE KAY STAFFORD CARE PARTNER EDUCATION DAY 2023

The Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward is hosting the Kay Stafford Care Partner Education Day on November 10th, 2023 in Quinte West from 9:30 am until 3 pm. The Kay Stafford Care Partner Education Day focuses on learning, discussion, and the opportunity to ask questions to industry experts. Topics discussed will include long-term care, legal considerations, tax benefits and additional information that is valuable to local care partners.

The event will also feature keynote speaker Sherri Elliott RN, BA, BScN - Psychogeriatric Resource Consultant at Seniors Mental Health Behavioural Support Services with Providence Care. This special day of education and sharing would not be possible without the support of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, through the Kay Stafford Memorial Fund.

The event will be hosted at Heroes Landing (formerly known as the Knights of Columbus Hall) at 57 Stella Crescent in Quinte West. This free event includes lunch and refreshments. Registration is required. This event is for clients (care partners) of the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward.
