McDonald's Fundraiser for Alzheimer's!

Hastings – Prince Edward

McDonald's Fundraiser September 21st

McDonald’s once again supporting local Alzheimer Society
on World Alzheimer Day September 21, 2022

Belleville, August 2022 – On September 21st - make your coffee count! Local McDonald’s in Belleville, Quinte West, Picton and Madoc will be donating 50 cents from all medium, large, and extra-large coffees and hot McCafé beverages sold on September 21st  - World Alzheimer Day, to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward (ASHPE).

In addition, staff, volunteers, and community supporters will once again be in the drive-thru collecting cash and tap donations. All funds raised and donated will stay in our community and help ASHPE support those affected by dementia in our community.

We are so thankful to have this wonderful support from our local McDonald’s owners and patrons again this year. These funds will stay right here in our region and allow us to help and support the growing number of people affected by memory loss”, says ASHPE Executive Director Angela Meraw.

Less than 40% of ASHPE’s budget is provided by the Ministry of Health, meaning the Society relies on the support of donors and fundraising to continue providing free programs and services in our community.  The Society hopes to raise over $7500 through this partnership.

Be sure to take a selfie with your hot McCafé beverage and tag ASHPE on social media to show your support: www.facebook.com/AlzheimerHPE  www.instagram.com/alzheimersocietyhpe/ . To learn more about our local Alzheimer Society please visit www.alzheimer.ca/hpe.
