Did you know?

Dementia is on the rise in Canada: In 2020, it was estimated that there were 597,300 individuals living with dementia in Canada. By 2030, we can expect this number will reach close to 1 million. But there is still much we can do!

A major Lancet Commission report in 2020 found that approximately 40% of dementia cases could be prevented or delayed by addressing a series of modifiable risk factors throughout a person's life.

Join us at the Picton Library to learn about these modifiable risk factors for dementia and how you can make positive changes to impact your brain health at any stage in life!
