The Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region offers specialized counselling services to mitigate risk, a vast array of wellness and social programs and opportunities to educate people living with dementia, their families, formal and informal caregivers and the public at large.

The goal of our programming is that people living at home with dementia and their families share experiences, participate in community-based activities and receive individualized support toward safe and active community living.

Inclement Weather

Due to poor weather conditions, the office of the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region may close its doors. Alternatively, we may cancel programming in the interest of our client's safety even though the office remains open.

The Regional Municipality of Niagara in Southern Ontario, lies on the west side of the Niagara River, between lakes Ontario and Erie. It has one of the largest senior populations per-capita in Canada with approximately 10,500 people experiencing a dementia.
