Alzheimer Society Niagara Region Logo

The Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region operates on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attiwonderonk (Neutral), and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The traditional lands are represented through the Between the Lakes Purchase (Treaty 3, 1792) and the Niagara Purchase (Treaty 381).

The work of the Alzheimer Society aims to reduce stigma, promote inclusivity, and remove societal barriers for our clients to maximize their quality of life. In the spirit of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement, we reflect on the history of these lands and vow to never forget our nation’s past, support our own learning, and inform our practices in achieving the same aims.
