Art Expressions is a painting class for individuals living with dementia and their care partners - no experience required!

Call us at 905-687-3914 to learn more and register.

Art Expressions is a painting and media program that lets individuals living with dementia and their care partners enjoy an activity that:

Provides the opportunity for social engagement
Improves quality of life
Increases informal supports through connection with other participants

This painting class is an expressive therapy and social group that offers an opportunity for individuals living with dementia to have personal choice and control.

No previous experience is necessary! Each session will guide participants to create a specific painting theme.

Each participant will be encouraged to choose their own:

Canvas size
Tools
Paint colours
Textures to work with

Please note

Our building is still open while the Linhaven property is under construction but visitor parking may be limited. Visitors may need to park in the lot at the back of Linhaven. Please note that this is approximately a 5-minute walk to the ASNR building.
