Reception coverage

You can help assist the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia in greeting visitors, answering phones, and other administrative tasks.

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in the mandate of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greeting visitors as they arrive at reception
  • Answering calls and directing calls as appropriate
  • Announcing arrivals to appropriate staff members
  • Other administrative tasks as needed
Training and Orientation:

General orientation to the Society is made available by the Coordinator of Volunteer Resources. Training specific to the role will be provided by a member of the administrative staff.

Time Commitment:

3-4 hours per week, as necessary
