The ongoing labour action at Canada Post may affect some of our services. Here’s how you might be impacted:
Clients
- Information kits with paper copies of our resources won’t be mailed during this time. Those already in transit will be delayed. However, all resources are available online and by email. Please reach out at 1-800-611-6345 or [email protected] if you need them.
Donors
- Donations sent via mail will be delayed in reaching us. In-person and online donations will not be impacted. Secure online donations can be made here.
- Hard copy tax receipts will also be delayed. Mailouts will resume after the strike ends, but email receipts are available as usual. For an emailed receipt, please contact us at 1-800-611-6345 or [email protected].
- Memorial cards sent by mail will be delayed. We’ll resume mailouts once the strike ends. If you’d like a digital acknowledgement instead, please reach out to us at 1-800-611-6345 or [email protected].
We know how essential postal workers are in keeping us all connected, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these temporary challenges. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting workers’ rights alongside us.

An additional note of interest to our stakeholders: Elections Nova Scotia will not be mailing out voter information cards for this year's election due to the postal strike. To find your local voting information, click here.
