Cindy Cheong-Lee
Cindy is a Master Trainer with the Health-Care Provider Education Team at the Alzheimer Society of B.C. and Yukon.
She feels privileged to support Community Facilitators to facilitate U-First!® workshops within their organizations and collaborate with her colleagues to continue the important work of delivering dementia education and promoting person-centered care in long-term care homes throughout the province.
Cindy is a Registered Nurse, holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Management, certification in Adult Training and is a Global Learning Partners Certified Dialogue Education™ Practitioner.
She can be found enjoying the green spaces by the water in Richmond.
Valerie Baiton
Valerie is a Master Trainer with the U-First!® team at the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, where she supports facilitators as they deliver U-First!® education in long term care homes.
She brings a background in geriatric rehabilitation, gerontology, and adult education. She is passionate about person-centred dementia care, and the positive impact of education on building staff confidence and supporting meaningful outcomes in residents.
She is a Global Learning Partners, Certified Dialogue Education™ Practitioner. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys hiking, cycling, and catching up with friends in the many coffee shops on the North Shore.
