Learn how our social program can help you to meet new people and develop relationships with others who are on the dementia journey. Come join us for a cup of coffee or tea and fun social activities.

What is Coffee and Chat?

Coffee and Chat is a social program designed to help you meet new people, engage in social activities and have fun! Groups are available in-person or online for various audience groups, including groups for people living with early-stage dementia, caregivers (a family member, friend or other care partner) and mixed groups for both people living with early-stage dementia to attend with a care partner. The program is available in English and Cantonese.

Registration is required. Please contact the First Link® Dementia Helpline at 1-800-936-6033 to learn more about what programs are available in your community.

Ways to join:

  • Online: Online groups meets every other week for 60 minutes. Registration in an online group is ongoing.
  • In-person: In-person groups meets weekly for 90 minutes. Registration is for a 6-8 week series.
