First Link® dementia support connects people with dementia and their care partners to support services, education and information at any stage of the journey. If you are living with dementia, connecting to First Link means you’ll receive the support you need when you need it – through bulletins, support groups, education and one-on-one phone calls. First Link is about an ongoing connection.

First Link® referrals

First Link® referrals help physicians and other health-care providers connect you to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. services and support to help you understand the diagnosis and to equip you to better cope with the changes to come.

Support groups

Dementia can leave those with the disease and their care partners feeling isolated. However, you are not alone. There are other people to share the journey with you. Learn about the Family Caregiver and Early Stage support groups we offer across B.C.
