Join us for our in-person Giving Day on December 11
Join us at one of our resource centres for a special in-person Giving Day on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
With many charities hit hard by the ongoing Canada Post strike during one of the biggest fundraising periods of the year, we’re inviting community members to several of our resource centres for a special in-person Giving Day on Wednesday, December 11.
“Many of our donors are seniors,” says Cathryn France, Chief Development Officer. “For many of them, giving to charity is an important tradition, particularly during the holidays. But many of them are still uncomfortable donating online. We’re delighted to be able to invite them to drop by, enjoy some holiday treats and support a cause they care about. We want donating to be a simple and joyful part of the season.”
We are pleased to welcome the community to several of our resource centres across the province. You will have an opportunity to connect with the organization’s staff and learn more about support and education available to anyone in B.C. on the dementia journey – including support groups and webinars – all of which are only possible by the generosity of the community.
