“Valley Mitsubishi is proud to be the Breakfast to Remember presenting sponsor for Kelowna. We are a small, family-run automobile dealership based in Kelowna. We support many not-for-profit organizations in the community, but the Alzheimer Society of B.C. is near and dear to our hearts. We have chosen to sponsor and support this event because my father-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease 10 years ago; he is now in the later stages of the disease. We have been a part of his journey and are now beginning to lean on the Society. We appreciate the Society and all that they offer for people who have been diagnosed with dementia, as well as the support and resources that they provide for families and caregivers in many communities across the province.

In my experience, dementia is a long and tumultuous road that requires the entire family to be involved. There is always lots of laughter and there have been tears along our journey. We appreciate all that the Alzheimer’s Society offers and we also hope to be in attendance at Kelowna’s Breakfast to Remember in 2024.” – Rick Wright, owner of Valley Mitsubishi in Kelowna.
