At an important time for our organization and mission, the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon is looking for our next CEO. We're seeking a visionary, values-driven leader to guide a talented and dedicated team, advance our ambitious strategy, and strengthen our impact for people affected by dementia across British Columbia and Yukon.
The Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon is entering an important next chapter. Building on decades of work and a strong organizational foundation our next CEO will lead the Society in extending our reach, strengthening our voice, diversifying our resources and building our capacity to meet the growing needs of people affected by dementia.
Our Board of Directors is looking for an accomplished, collaborative leader who listens deeply, values lived experience and can navigate complexity and competing priorities. The successful candidate will bring:
The Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon’s next CEO will bring the strategic leadership to turn ambition into action, setting clear priorities and keeping the organization focused on meaningful impact. They will be a visible and credible ambassador for the organization, building strong relationships across communities, government, health care and research, as well as with donors and partners who share our commitment to the mission.
Just as importantly, they will be an inclusive and empowering people leader who brings diverse perspectives together, builds strong teams, and creates clarity and accountability. They will pair that leadership with sound operational and financial judgment, ensuring the Society has the capacity, resources and resilience to deliver today while continuing to grow and evolve for the future. As part of that work, they will champion philanthropy and help strengthen and diversify the resources that make our mission possible.
