A federation of 10 provincially-focused organizations, the Alzheimer Society is the leading nationwide health organization for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in Canada.
The Society is a principal funder of Alzheimer's disease research and training, provides enhanced care and support to people with the disease, their families and their caregivers, and is a prominent voice within all levels of government.
Organizationally, the federation members remain legally independent from one another. However, we share a belief that our ability to achieve our mission is enhanced through the federation and the collaboration associated with it.
The Alzheimer Federation in Canada is connected to partners in countries around the world as a member of Alzheimer Disease International.
