Fraser Health U-First!® trainings
U-First!® is an innovative and unique training program, based on the PIECES framework, that helps frontline staff to develop a common knowledge base, language, values and approach to caring for people living with dementia and other cognitive impairment.

Below are the U-First!® trainings available for Fraser Health Authority. Click the link to go to the registration page for that specific training. Please only register for one training.
All training sessions are interactive, and everyone is expected to be actively engaged throughout the session to share with and learn from each other.
Eligibility: Long-term care staff
Cost: FREE ($80 training fee covered through a B.C. Ministry of Health grant). Please note that staff backfill costs are not covered.

U-First!® 3-week e-learning course
Learn at your own pace through our blended learning format with engaging online modules, interactive discussion forums and one-hour Zoom webinar.
Access the e-learning course through the Alzheimer Society of B.C.'s online learning platform over a three-week period, with weekly requirements (averaging two hours per week) and a mandatory one-hour Zoom webinar.
