Celebrate volunteers with us this spring!
This National Volunteer Week, from April 18 – 24, we’re recognizing the people who enable us to organize events, provide support and make decisions that are informed by people affected by dementia. The Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s work to build communities where people affected by dementia are acknowledged, supported and included would not be possible without their dedication. Volunteers show people affected by dementia that they’re not alone.
You can help us recognize our incredible volunteers by following @AlzheimerBC on social media and joining the conversation as we showcase some of the integral roles volunteers play in our organization. Learn more about:
- Building critical awareness and resources in the Chinese community
- Leadership Group of People Living with Dementia provides invaluable guidance
- Leadership Group of Caregivers make change for other families on the dementia journey
- Sparking a movement through the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's
- Stepping up in the business community through Breakfast to Remember
- Volunteering on our Board of Directors: “You can make a real difference”
National Volunteer Week is a time to thank all of our volunteers for their commitment to changing the future of dementia with us. We couldn’t do it without you!
